The HBCULR staff is thrilled to announce that we are now officially in business. After two years of planning, fundraising, and brainstorming, the project is finally underway.
We hope that you'll help us spread the word. Send us your best literary work. Let us know how we can improve. If you're so inclined, volunteer to join our editorial board. Subscribe.
We're excited to begin a project that we hope will offer a new and vibrant venue for artistic expression from HBCU's around the country. We welcome new voices and new attitudes but we also welcome reflections on history and tradition.
We'd like to thank all of our donors, many who contributed as little as $20.00 to found the publication. We'd also like to thank Dr. Yolanda Williams Page and Dr. Carolyn Blakely, the faculty of the Department of English, Theatre, and Mass Communications, and our student interns for helping us do all the other that is so necessary to starting a project like this.
